RoHS Compliance and GoldPlug
While it is not required in the US, RoHS compliance is a requirement in the European Union. Sometimes known as “Lead-Free” , this legislation bans items containing more than the agreed levels of:
- lead (Pb)
- cadmium (Cd)
- mercury (Hg)
- hexavalent chromium (Cr6+)
- polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
- polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)
Since GoldPlugs are Solid Stainless steel or Titanium, they are not surface coated. They will not corrode and will last a lifetime.
GoldPlug is RoHS complaint.
